Special Session of the 5th International Conference on
6-9/11/2018 : Maison des Sciences de l'Homme  (Paris Nord)
Description of the technical issues:

In the last decade, new advancements related to wireless networking and enabling technologies for Internet of Vehicles (IoV) are exploding growth.  Accordingly, IoV and networked vehicles will be widely deployed. Future vehicles will integrate networks for intra-vehicles communications (such as CAN, LIN , Flexray …)  and networks for inter-vehicles communications. Besides that, future vehicles will exchange data and interact with IoT eco-system. Furthermore, the next-generation of cellular networks will basically integrate vehicles communications.  In this context, new investigations and contributions should be done related to IoV enabling technologies and communication systems. In the literature, still lacks a coordinated approach towards a unified networking vision related IoV networks. Thus, this special issue aims to cover the most recent results and research, addressing innovative solutions defining new wireless networking approaches, emerging and enabling technologies.

Prospected authors are invited to submit their original contributions, surveys and case studies that address the world of IoV networks.
